The strange-looking creature which had four sharps claws washed up on a Donegal beach.

A reader has appealed for help in trying to identify a “cat-like creature” which she came across on a West Donegal beach.

The woman came across the strange discovery on the beach at Bunbeg.

“It looks really strange. I could not make out what it was but the fur and claws looked like something that should be in a zoo like a big wild cat.

“It was about 4ft in length as you see it but it looks all folded up and twisted,” said the woman.

If any of our readers have come across similar creatures or can suggest what exactly this creature in, please get in touch.
