A WILD Atlantic Way conference is to be held in Donegal.
Donegal County Council in association with Failte Ireland and Donegal Tourism Ltd say that the ‘Connecting the Wild Atlantic Way’ conference is coming to Donegal on September 25.
“‘Connecting the Wild Atlantic Way’ is an innovative conference and the first to blend digital marketing activities with promotion of the Wild Atlantic Way touring route in Donegal,” said Anne Marie Conlon from the council.
“People will be able to discover a range of simple cost effective online marketing tips that can be applied to your business to ensure positive growth.”
A panel of expert speakers from companies such as Google, Facebook and some of Ireland’s leading digital marketing agencies will show you how to make the most of the Wild Atlantic Way.
The conference will also feature practical case studies from a range of local tourism businesses that are already experiencing a positive increase in visitor numbers as a direct result of Wild Atlantic Way marketing initiatives that they have deployed in order to reach a wider consumer audience online
Barney McLaughlin from Donegal County Council commented that “Donegal County Council and Failte Ireland welcome this conference to Donegal. This is a great opportunity for the Tourism trade to come together to network and to gain the information necessary to promote and increase market share for their businesses on the back of the Wild Atlantic Way brand.“
