This stunning picture was taken earlier today by Adam Rory Porter.

Glorious sunshine bestowed itself on Donegal today, and this snap show how beautiful our county is.

The picture is of the monument known as Grianan of Aileach in Burt, Inishowen, County Donegal.

This ancient hilltop structure stands guard near the southern end of Lough Swilly and is a hop and a skip from Buncrana and Derry, the City of Culture 2013

Just another great reason to Visit Inishowen and to Visit Donegal!
