ETB LogoAccounting Technicians Ireland Courses – September 2014

Accounting Technicians are qualified accounting professionals that work in all levels of finance.

They are involved in the day to day practical work of accountancy and play a key operational role in producing reliable financial information.

In a small company they can be the only qualified employee looking after the finance function, while in a larger company they may be working as part of a team alongside accountants and administrative staff.

Donegal ETB Letterkenny will be running a full time Year 1 course starting in September 2014.

The Year 1 subjects include Financial Accounting, Taxation, Management and Law and Ethics.

Year 2 subjects include Advanced Financial Accounting, Advanced Taxation, Management Accounting and Integrated Accounting Systems.

Mature applicants over 21 can apply to enter Year 1 on the basis of age and experience rather than educational background.

Trainees selected for the Year 1 course will be eligible for training allowances. Trainees are expected to do 2-3 hours home study per day.

Course times are 8:30 to 14.00 Monday to Thursday with 12:45 finish on Friday.

For Year 1 the only fee to be paid by trainees is the Accounting Technicians Ireland annual registration fee of €170.

Please see www.accountingtechniciansireland.ie for 2014-2015 prospectus.

To book attendance on information sessions please contact Rory @ 0749560521 or email: roryrushe@donegaletb.ie.
