Well-known Donegal photographer Paul Doherty is well used to being in the frame.

But the popular lensman has found himself in even more demand after landing a role in a hotly-tipped RTE comedy series.

Paul is now the official photographer on RTE’s Callan’s Kicks.

The new show, starring madcap comic Oliver Callan, has just hit our screens.

Paul, from Kilmacrennan, says he has really being enjoying himself working on the show.

“It’s a great experience and it’s something new so I am still getting into it.

“I’m traveling a good bit to Dublin but it’s really interesting and I feel the show is only really beginning to take off now,” said Paul.

Paul hit the headlines this week after he shot a surprise video for his sister Grainne’s wedding.

Guests were left speechless as they were treated to a seven minute mini film of Grainne and new husband Jamie Corry breaking down in their car and taking a rally car to their reception in the Silver Tassie instead.

The video went viral after it first appeared on Donegal Daily yesterday morning.
