Donegal natives and kidney transplant recipients Hugo Boyce from Clonmany and Kieran Murray from Ramelton will take part in the 8th European Transplant & Dialysis Sports Championships next month.

They along with other members of the 34 strong Transplant Team Ireland attended a motivational talk by Jim Gavin, Dublin Senior Football Manager at ALSAA Sports Complex Dublin Airport recently.

Hugo will participate in Bowling (singles and doubles) and Petanque (singles and doubles).

This will be Kieran Murray’s first time to represent Ireland as part of Transplant Team Ireland.

Kieran’s events at the European Games are Field Ball Throw, Golf, 5k race, 800 m race and 4 x 100m relay race.

We wish them the best of luck!
