Our ladies team and u/10 boys competed in the Foyle Cup last week.

Our ladies team won the Foyle plate beating Derry ladies 3-2 in the final with goals from Bernie Cunningham, Amy Boyd and Lauren Harper.

Our u/10 boys won the Foyle Bowl after a hard fought 2-1 win over Milford Utd. Caolan Fox scored both goals in the final.

They had started the week with a 2-0 loss to Oak Athletic followed by a 3-1 win over Sion Swifts (Luke Parke, Jamie Harris(2).

On Tuesday they drew 1-1 with Limavady Utd (Ryan Creevy). We hit a bad day Wednesday losing 1-0 to Cockhill Celtic and 2-0 to Oxford Fc. The boys recovered well beating Sion Colts 6-3 (Caolan Fox(4), Dean Rodgers, Jamie Harris) on Wednesday. On Thursday they beat Ballyraine 1-0 (Jordan Mc Hugh) in a tough semi-final before facing Milford in the final. Thanks to all the parents for their support and helping with transport during the week. Congratulations also to u/12 keeper Killian Gribben who was part of the Letterkenny Rovers side that won the u/11 Foyle Cup. Killian saved two penalties in the final shootout. Our u/10 boys, for next season, took part in a blitz in Finn Park on Sunday. In our weekly lotto the numbers drawn were 2,14,17 and 18. 9 people had two numbers with Ned Gibson drawn out of the hat and winning E50.
