GAA BALLMilford Ladies are through to the semi-final of the Senior Championship after a hard fought win against St Eunans in O’ Donnell park on Sunday on a score line 3-6 to 2-8.

After winning the first leg Milford went into the match with a six point advantage but were caught cold at the start of the match & found themselves 1.5 to 1 point down after 15 minutes, they responded well and went in 3 points down at half time.

The second half was a real battle under poor weather conditions, little to choose between both teams with milfords defence in particular outstanding, the six point advantage from the first leg was a telling factor and once Milford got their noses in front there was only going to be one winner.

This was a real team performance with Aoife Gallagher and Michelle Doherty in particular outstanding, they go on to meet glenfin in co semi final on Sunday 10th August.
