Our Seniors and Reserve were at home to St. Michaels last weekend with the Reserves being defeated mainly due to a couple of late goals. The Seniors won by a point in what can be described as a truly entertaining fixture. Both teams have no fixtures this weekend.
The Thirds are continuing to win in the league and defeated St. Eunans at home last Sunday by a margin of three points. The Thirds have been drawn against Pettigo in the next round of the Championship with venue and date to be confirmed.
Our Minors have their final group game in the Championship at home to Convoy on Monday August 4th at 7.30pm.
The Ladies Team have a league fixture away to Termon this Thursday 31st at 7.30pm and they are away to Naomh Mhuire in the Championship on Sunday August 3rd at 12 noon.
The Cul Camp was a great success this year with record numbers combined with fine weather and a great effort from our own club coaches and we must thank the County men namely Michael Boyle, Martin Mc Elhinney, and Eamon Doherty for their input throughout the week.
Congratulations to our under 15 seven a side team who were successful in the Og Sport held in O Donnell Park last Saturday and now qualify for the Northern board final due to be played this coming weekend with time, date and venue to be confirmed.
The Gaelic for Mothers and Others starts this Wednesday 30th July in the training field at 8pm. This will run initially for a period of 6 weeks. It is very much described as something for everyone in that their will be various activities to suit all such as walkers, footballers etc. It is a non competitive group and is designed as a new social outlet within the club, a chance to get active and meet new people. The Under 13 boys have their first league game this Wednesday 30th at home to Muff at 7.30pm. The Under 16s had a great win over Red Hughs in the league 1/4 final by a scoreline of 6-11 to 1-3. The under 13 girls start their training schedule this Saturday on the training pitch from 3.30 to 5pm.
The winning Lotto numbers this week are 2,6,13,and 14. Match three winner was Lorraine Doherty of Falcarragh. Next weeks sellers are Adrian Glackin and Martin Gallagher.
