UNIQUE BEACH OBSTACLE COURSE ‘SPLASH & DASH’ CREATED TO RAISE FUNDS FOR DONEGAL HOSPICE

image (7)2image3image4image‘Splash & Dash 2014’ is a fun filled land, beach & sea obstacle course with approx 7km of walking, running, crawling and wading through man made and natural obstacles.

This is the first charitable obstacle event in Donegal and all proceeds go to The Donegal Hospice.

The fundraising event was created & designed by Deirdre Ward as a way to show her appreciation of the care and support shown by the staff of The Donegal Hospice towards her late mother Anna Ward.

The event contains various obstacles include crawling under nets, hopping through tyres and sliding down beach hills.

There is no swimming involved however you are guaranteed to get wet and have lots of craic!

Individual entry or enter as a team of 4!

A Junior Dash will also be held for kids aged 4-10 years.

This will take place at 10:30am and the main event is at 12:00pm.

Sign in for both at the Eamonn Byrne Memorial GAA Pitch. Juniors from 9:00am – 10:15am and Adults from 9:00am – 11:45am.

Cost: Adult €25 + small admin fee

Child €5 + small admin fee

Prize Giving Presentation, refreshments and entertainment provided afterwards in The Clock Tower at 7pm.

There will be an auction which includes a signed Ireland & Donegal jersey on the night.
