FILE SENT TO DPP OVER ALLEGED DONEGAL TOWN ASSAULT

Garda tapeGARDAI have questioned a man and sent a file to the Director of Public Prosecutions following an alleged sexual assault in Donegal Town.

The alleged incident took place in the town last week.

A woman in her 30s later made an allegation to Gardai.

A man in his 60s from a Border town in Donegal has been questioned about the alleged attack and a file submitted to the DPP in Dublin.

The man had been questioned at Ballyshannon Garda Station.
