Please detail your name, category ( senior, 50+, walker), club (athletic club or individual)
Race registration – At Pairc Ui Shiadhail Gaa Grounds Portsalon, Fanad.
Route information:
The race begins at a pillar near the main road exit to Páirc Ui Shiadhail.
The runners turn left at the exit and proceed in the direction of Portsalon Cross Roads.
At the crossroads the route turns up what is known locally as ‘Carr’s Brae’ and continues on that road.
The route takes a right turn into Corry at Andrew Gibbons house and continues through the town land of Corry downhill through the ‘back burn’.
At the junction below Sweeney’s the runners take a right turn in the direction of Portsalon along the Corry Bog road, straight through the crossroads, turning right into the GAA grounds.
The 5k finish line is located directly outside the clubhouse gates. For anyone interested in running the route the kilometre, start and finish marks are discreetly marked on the road in green paint.
