GAA NEWS: RED HUGHS SENIORS FACE ROBERT EMMETS

RED RUGHS CLUB NOTESred hughs

Senior men

The senior men play Robert Emmets at home on Sunday at 3pm in the junior A championship.

The reserves game v St Eunans is postponed.

The Under 21’s are playing Fanad at home on Tuesday in the quarter final of division 2 championship throw in 7pm

Minor Board

The under 13 boys played their opening game of the league against Downings last Wednesday evening and were well beaten against a very strong Downings team. Their next game is on this Wednesday away to Moville throw in 7.30pm

The under 16 girls played Convoy at home last Tuesday evening despite putting in a great effort unfortunately lost out on the night.

The minor boys played St Eunans B on Monday evening in Letterkenny in the final group match of the championship. They got off to a great start netting two early goals and set them up for the match. They withstood a late rally from the Letterkenny men to run out winners on the night on a score line of 3-8 to 0-7. A big thank you the St Eunans ladies for the tea and sandwiches after the game. Very much appreciated.

Numbers drawn were 6,1,3,7,2,8,5,4

There was no winning sequence Bronagh Kelly Edenoughill was the lucky dip winner of €30

Next weeks Jackpot is €4,250
