ONE MAN CONFIRMED DEAD IN BARNESMORE CRASH

A man has died following two car collision near Barnesmore Gap this afternoon.

One man has died in the crash at Barnesmore.

One man has died in the crash at Barnesmore.

The man, who was in his 80s, died when his vehicle was in collision with another car around 4pm.

The accident happened close to the junction for the turn-off for Harvey’s Point Hotel on the N15.

No other details on the other people involved in the crash have been released at this stage.

The collision occurred about 2 miles north of Clar chapel.

The occupant of the second vehicle, a woman in her 60s, has been taken by ambulance to hospital.

Diversions are currently in place as crash scene investigators carry out a full investigation.
