Coffee and scones is available at Dunkineely Methodist Church every Tuesday, during July and August from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm to raise money for Marie and Eva who are going to Haiti at the beginning of January. Come along and enjoy.
MC INTYRE’S BAR – Every Wednesday night have Traditional music from 10:00 pm, also Traditional music session in McIntyre’s Bar, Dunkineely on Sunday afternoon at 5pm. All musicians and singers welcome.

Tuesday 12th August – Leisurely walk followed by tea & scones at 10:00am from the Dunkineely Community Limited Offices & Presentations of the Children’s Art Competition in Baskins Café at 5:00pm.
Wednesday 13th August – Community “Showcase” Concert in the Dunkineely Community Centre at 7:00pm, Presentations of the Photography Competition in McLaughlins Bar at 9:00pm & Traditional Music Session in McIntyre’s Bar at 10:00pm.
Thursday 14th August – Soccer 5-a-side first rounds in the Soccer field Darney at 7:00pm & Quiz night at Mary Murrins Bar & Restaurant at 9:30pm.
Friday 15th August – Soccer 5-a-side Final in the Soccer Field Darney at 7:00pm, Children’s disco and Fancy Dress Competition in Wesley Hall at 7:00pm, Youth Disco in Wesley Hall at 9:00pm. In the evening: Bingo in the GAA Clubhouse, Music by Paul Ward in McLaughlin’s Bar, Music by Little Hours in Mac’s Bar.
Saturday 16th August – The Point 10k run and walk, emergency services display, bouncy castle & face painting at 11:00am on main street Dunkineely. Concert: Aiden O’Donnell, Kieran Munnelly and Shane McGowan in McIntyre’s Bar at 8:00pm. 70’s & 80’s Disco at Dunkineely Mart at 9:00pm. In the evening: Point 10k celebration with John B in Mac’s Bar, Music plus charity waxing in McGuire’s Bar & Music by Bar Flies in McLaughlin’s Bar.
Sunday 17th August – Kayak races and Pony & Trap rides on the strand, St. John’s Point at 12:00pm. Funday with bouncy castles, face painting, pet show, best dressed pet competition, soap box race and much more at the DCL and Methodist Church Grounds at 3:00pm. Soap box race (adults & children) main street Dunkineely at 4:00pm. Killaghtee Band Main Street Dunkineely at 5:30pm.
Traditional Music Session in McIntyres Bar from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. Music by Eclipse in Mac’s Bar from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Evening: Music in McLaughlin’s Bar.
Bookings are now being taken for Mega Makers 5 day Summer Club, 11th -15th August at Dunkineely Methodist, 10:00 am – 12:30 pm each day for all of National School age. €15.00 for one child, €20.00 for two and €30.00 for three in one family.

BRUCKLESS ROAD RUNNERS – THE POINT 10K CHARITY FUN/RUN/WALK – Is taking place in Dunkineely on Saturday 16th August 2014 at 11:00 am (Same route as last year).
The chosen charities for this year’s event are Billy’s World Ireland and Clara House Killybegs – (Day Centre for Intellectual Disabilities).

Come into the office weekday mornings from 9:30 am – 12:30 pm and use the Internet (20c per half hour) or Print Documents (20c per page).
