GAA NEWS: DUNGLOE U12’S EARN GOOD WIN OVER FOUR MASTERS

Dungloe GAA will host a table quiz on Wednesday night 20th August in Caislean Óir, Annagry proceeds of which will go towards the running of all our teams. A good turnout would be appreciated to show our support for the tremendous work being carried out by the Club especially at Underage level. Quiz will commence at 10 p.m.€5 per person.

Dungloe hosted Four Masters in the sixth round of the u12 league tonight. Dungloe were unbeaten at home so far and anxious to maintain that record. The game was tight and cautious in the first half with a half time score line of 0.2 to 0.1 to Dungloe.

Dungloe widened the play in the second half and the ball to the forward line improved hugely. Damian McGowan picked off two great points and Brendan O’Donnell came very close to scoring a great goal. Dungloe pulled away more and more scoring 2.5 to no reply in the second half and winning convincingly. Best for Dungloe were Noah Boyle, Michael McNulty, Damian McGowan, Karl McGee, Joe Doyle, Michael Greene and Brendan O’Donnell and Darcy Walsh.
