COAST GUARD RESCUE TRAWLER FROM ROCKS

coast guardCOAST GUARD crews have rescued a trawler off the Donegal coast.

Malin Head Coast Guard station picked up a mayday signal from a fishing vessel off the north coast.

Greencastle Coast Guard crew arrived on the scene first and managed to keep the fishing boat away from crashing on the rocks.

Portrush RNLI lifeboat arrived with a tug the Torbay Endeavour and was able to tow the fishing boat to safety.
