BREAKING NEWS: A woman has died after the car in which she was traveling crashed into a fence in Bundoran.
The accident took place yesterday at The Ross, at approximately 3.50pm yesterday.
The 82 year old woman was rushed to Sligo General Hospital but she was pronounced dead en route.
The road was closed to allow for a Garda Forensic Examination of the scene.
The pensioner’s identity has not yet been released.
Gardai are now appealing for anybody who may have witnessed the crash to contact them at Bundoran Garda Station on 071 9841203, The Garda Confidential Line 1800 666111 or any Garda Station.
