GAA NEWS: URRIS HIT LETTERKENNY GAELS FOR SIX TO PROGRESS TO SEMI-FINAL

UrrisGaa3JUNIOR A CHAMPIONSHIP: The senior men beat Letterkenny Gaels by 6-10 to 0-11 in Buncrana on Sunday. The lads are now through to the semi-finals of the championship. Well done to the lads, Danny and all involved with this team.

SENIOR & RESERVES: The next games on fixtures list are both teams away to Buncrana in the Division 3 league on Saturday next but this might be subject to change. Check our facebook page for updates during the week.

MATCH “N” WIN: Thursday August 21st; No jackpot winner-numbers drawn: 1, 7, 22 & 23. €15 winners: Ally Doherty, 19 Gaddyduff, Eddie Gill, 3 Colmcille Village, Clonmany, Pat Doherty (JS), Main Street, Clonmany, Margaret Mc Cauley, Moville and Noel Young, Summerhill, Co. Meath. Jackpot next week €620. Thanks to all our Lotto sellers and all who support this weekly draw.

U21: The U21’s next game is against Glenfin on Tuesday September 2nd, time and venue to be confirmed.

U13: Urris v Moville in Straid on Wednesday night at 7pm. Support welcome.

DONEGAL TRAINING FUND DRAW: The club is now selling tickets to support the Donegal GAA teams training fund, tickets are €5 or three for €10. 1st prize-€1,000, 2nd prize-€500, 3rd prize-€250, 4th prize-€250 and 5th prize-two All Ireland Football Final tickets. Tickets can be purchased from John Friel or any committee member.

GOOD LUCK: The club wish good luck to the Donegal Seniors & minors in the All Ireland semi-finals in Croke Park on Sunday and safe travel to all travelling to Dublin on Sunday.

BINGO: Bingo in St. Mary’s Hall, Clonmany every Thursday night at 9pm.
