CLOSE UP OF CASTLE AND CASTLE FLAGExperience a bracing coastal walk to the historic Kilbarron Castle ruins on Saturday 30th August at 3pm as part of National Heritage week.

The Kilbarron Castle Conservation Group is organising a “Walk &Talk” tour from the Marine Centre in Creevy along the coastal path to Kilbarron Castle. The walk to the castle is about twenty minutes from the Marine Centre.

During this time the story of the people and the events surrounding this historic place will be told.

Afterwards all those participating are invited back to the Creevy Co- Op’s Marine Centre for some light refreshments and to see a display about the work to date of the Kilbarron Castle Conservation Group.

All is free of charge and will be a fun afternoon. Remember to wear good walking shoes and bring a raincoat in case it rains.

For further information: Telephone (071) 985 2896 or Email kilbarroncastle@outlook.com or find us on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/kilbarroncastleconservationgroup
