Gardai were forced to seal off Letterkenny Main Street in the early hours of Sunday morning following a bomb scare.
Letterkenny Main Street had to be sealed off.
It followed a phonecall that a device had been left at a premises in the town.
The street was closed off as Gardai checked premises.
The incident was later found to be a hoax call and the Main Street was reopened.
