The Cloughaneely community & friends of Eileen McGinley are holding a fundraising weekend from the 4th of September until the 7th September.

The event is being organised to raise funds for Eileen Mc Ginley’s fight against cancer.

Eileen is from Derryreel Falcarragh. She has played gaelic football for her native Cloughaneely ladies team and has in the past lined out for Donegal. She is a past pupil of Murroe National School Dunfanaghy, and PCC Falcarragh.

Former team mates and friends of Eileen are holding a fundraising weekend in support of her work, and raising awareness about Bowel Cancer and her own personal journey. Follow her story on Facebook Bums Up To Cancer.

There are four events happening over the weekend.

On 4th there is a bike run at 7 o’clock leaving Sweeneys garage, a pub quiz will be held on the Friday the 5th at ten in the shamrock; there is a disco on the Saturday in the hotel with DJ Wild, and then there is a 5k family run/walk on the Sunday at 1 leaving the gym donations are welcome and tickets for the disco are 10 euro and are on sale now.
