GAA NEWS: URRIS U21’S FACE GLENFIN IN QUARTER-FINALS OF THE U21 B CHAMPIONSHIP

URRIS GAA NOTES

U21’S: Good luck to our U21 team who play Glenfin tonight in Buncrana in the quarter final of the U21B Championship. Match is at 7pm. Support most welcome. UrrisGaa3

CLUB MEETING: Club meeting on Wednesday night at 8pm. Please do your best to attend as a lot on the agenda including the official opening of the new clubhouse.

JUNIOR A CHAMPIONSHIP: The lads are now through to the semi-finals of the championship against Convoy on Saturday (Sept 6th) in Buncrana. Time to be confirmed. Good luck to Danny and the team.

CLUB IORRAS : Club Iorras winners for August: €50-Colm Toland, Fahan, €30-Barney Friel, Boston and €20-Edward Mc Laughlin, Tullagh. Thanks to all who support our monthly Club Iorras draw.

MATCH “N” WIN: August 28th: No jackpot winner-numbers drawn: 1, 10, 11 & 19. €15 winners: Pauric Doherty, Malin Head, Joe Mc Carron, Roxtown, Martine Quinn, Co Galway, Madeline Mc Crossan, Tornabratley and Monica Doherty, Tul-Na-Ri, Carndonagh. Jackpot next week €660.

13 Team: Urris v Glenfin in Straid on Wednesday night at 7pm. Support welcome. The team had a comprehensive win over Moville lasWednesday night.

WELL DONE: To the Donegal GAA Senior & Minor teams on reaching the All Ireland Finals. Great achievement for all involved with both teams.

DONEGAL TRAINING FUND DRAW: The club is now selling tickets to support the Donegal GAA teams training fund, tickets are €5 or three for €10. 1st prize-€1,000, 2nd prize-€500, 3rd prize-€250, 4th prize-€250 and 5th prize-two All Ireland Football Final tickets. Tickets can be purchased from John Friel or any committee member.
