The Donegal trio after their swim.
It was nice to be back on dry land for this trio of Donegal athletes.
Karen Crawford, Keith McClean and Mark Loughridge completed the 10 kilometre Lough Gill Hospice swim in Sligo on Saturday last.
In testing conditions they swam through wind and waves and all were delighted to complete the swim.
Between them they raised over €3000 for the Hospice and the RNLI.
The group are all from Letterkenny and do their training in Gartan lake and with the Letterkenny Triathlon Club.
The guys will finish off the season with a night swim in Derry this Friday in aid of Foyle Search and Rescue.
