GAA NEWS: MALIN U16’S DEFEAT GLENSWILLY TO WIN NORTHERN BOARD DIVISION TWO FINAL

ALL IRELAND FINALS:

Congratulations to both Donegal Senior & Minor Teams on their wins against Dublin at the Weekend. Well Done to Senior Player Declan Walsh who made appearance on Sundays Semi Final, the club was also represented by Stephen Mc Laughlin (Fildara). Malin GAA

We would also like to congratulate Robert Farren member of the backroom team with the Donegal Minors on securing their place in an All-Ireland Minor Final.

UNDER 13.5 BOYS:

U13.5 hosted St. Eunan’s on Wednesday evening. The result wasn’t in favour of home team but the team showed great determination by being 12 points down at half time & reducing this to a 2 point margin at the final whistle.

U16 BOYS:

Well Done to the U16 Team that defeated Glenswilly in the Northern Board Division 2 Final on Monday Evening in Buncrana.

With a final score of Malin 1:05 to Glenswilly 0:06, we would like to congratulate the team & management on their success.

COLAISTI INIS EOGHAIN TRAINING:

Rannafast Training. Will take place in Muff on Thursday at 5.30 pm.

Corn na nOg Training. Will take place in Buncrana on Monday at 5.00 pm.

For both these teams there is a need for coaches to help out. We would encourage as many club players to get involved as possible.

CLUB SHOP

The Malin GAA club shop will be open in the clubhouse on Saturdays from 12-2 and on Sundays from 11-15 to 2-00.

There are a large selection of club merchandise in stock, which can be purchased on the day. A list of other club gear, hoodies, rain jackets, shorts, socks, hats, scarves, kit bags etc are also available to order. The Malin half zipped training tops sponsored by Mark Monagle of 4Mark Construction are also available to order and are proving very popular. Club vouchers are now also available and would make an ideal birthday present, or for any occasion. For more details, contact Susan on 07493 70638.

GET FIT WITH CHARLIE

Get fit with Charlie restarts on Monday 1st September after the summer break. Come along and shed some of the summer pounds.

Classes will be on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6-30 to 7-30 for women.

While men classes get underway on the same nights from 7-30 to 8-30, all classes take place in the Malin GAA centre.
