Dunfanaghy Golf Club Notes:
We had a very good entry into the Wednesday open. Then Donegal Seniors were out on Thursday with over 140 golfers taking part.
All were singing the praise of the course and greens after their round. We are extremely lucky to have such a great course in such fine condition. There was a large crowd in the clubhouse for the Donegal match on Sunday.
Well done Jim and the full Donegal panel. We are extremely lucky to have three players from St. Michael’s club on the panel and all played an important part in the match on Sunday.
We are very proud of Colm, Christy and Martin. Keep it up and hopefully “Sam” will be returning to Donegal. We will have extra televisions in place for the final with a great for food and drink on the day of the final. Watch this space!!!!
The Kilbrae Cup is on this coming Saturday which is a GOY competition. Anyone wishing to qualify for the top twenty competition needs to try and play and secure your place in the final.
