GAA NEWS: URRIS EARN EXCELLENT LEAGUE VICTORY OVER AODH RUADH

SENIORS & RESERVES: It was league action for both teams at home to Aodh Ruadh on Saturday night and both achieved excellent wins.

Full time reserves Urris 0-7 v Aodh Rua 0-6. Full time in senior match Urris 0-10 Aodh 0-08.

The Seniors play Burt on Wednesday night in Burt in the league, game kicks off at 6.30pm.

MATCH “N” WIN: Thursday Sept 4th: No jackpot winner, numbers drawn 2, 3, 13 & 20. €15 winners: Annie Duffy, Urris, Margaret Mc Cauley, Moville, Vera Walker, Tullagh, Kathleen & Elisha C/o Bingo and Sorcha & Nathan Doherty, Culdaff.

Next week jackpot is €700. Thanks to all our lotto sellers and to all who support this weekly draw.

DONEGAL TRAINING FUND DRAW: The club is now selling tickets to support the Donegal GAA teams training fund, tickets are €5 or three for €10. 1st prize-€1,000, 2nd prize-€500, 3rd prize-€250, 4th prize-€250 and 5th prize-two All Ireland Football Final tickets.

Tickets can be purchased from John Friel or any committee member.

DATE FOR THE DIARY: Official opening of the new clubhouse on Sunday September 28th, more details to follow soon.

U13’S: The team make the long journey to play Downings on Wednesday night. Good luck to the lads and all involved with the team.

Items displayed are for children but adult sizes can also be purchased (check with Nichola for prices).

CLUB BINGO: Bingo continues every Thursday night at 9pm in St. Mary’s Hall, Clonmany.
