GAA NEWS: MOVILLE GAA CLUB TO HOST TALK NIGHT NEXT THURSDAY

There was no jackpot winner this week. The €50 runner up prize went to Claire the baker. The numbers were 5,8,16,24.

Next weeks jackpot €5,300.

CONGRATULATIONS

Congratulations to Patrick Faulkner and Cathal Mc Laughlin who played for Donegal U15s in their victory over Derry in Owenbeg on Saturday.

FUNDRAISING DRAW

The club are running a draw for two All Ireland final tickets. The draw will take place on Friday the 19th of Sept in the Trawlerman Bar tickets are €3 each available in most shop and bars in the parish also available from club members.

UNDER 13 FOOTBALL

The U13’s got their league campaign underway on Thursday evening with a home win over Buncrana. Best for Moville were Erin Coyle, Aisling McDermott & Claire Browne. Next up is a home game against Convoy.

UNDERAGE SATURDAY MORNING

Underage training returned last Saturday morning and there was a great number of children who turned out. Times are as follows: toddlers, u6s & u8s boys and girls 10-11am. U10 boys at 11-12 and u10 & u12 girls at 11-12. All new children welcome.

TALK NIGHT

A Talknight will take place in the Caiseal Mara hotel on Thursday 18th September. We have a great line-up. Come along to what promises to be a great night of chat and craic. Admission is only €5, pay at the door, starts at 8.30 pm.

DONEGAL MINOR

Club senior player and County minor player Tony Mc Cleneghan received a day with the cameras on Tuesday the 9th of September when one of the main sponsors of the minor all Ireland championship called to video him for a day in the life of a county minor player.

We are sure Caroline was more nervous than Tony who took it all in his stride, well done Tony.

ALL IRELAND FINAL

Club ticket orders were taken on the 8th and 9th of September at the club house and will be finalised in the coming days.

Please no texts or calls to the secetarys phone or club phone in regard to All Ireland tickets.
