Dunfanaghy has seen one of it’s busiest summers in recent years and the one place that has consistently provided top-class entertainment to both customers and tourists in the village was The Oyster Bar.

After an extensive revamp, which also seen ownership of the bar returned to the original management – the bar has thrived all summer.

Every night of the week you can walk in and see some of the very best live bands and musicians from the north west playing regularly to a packed house.

Donegal’s very own “In Their Thousands” are regulars at The Oyster as well as “The Humble Earthworms” and “Copper Head Rose”.

This weekend sees The Oyster open it’s brand new music venue “The Shibin”just in time for the much anticipated Dunfanaghy’s Jazz n Blues festival.

The Festival sees the best live bands from far and wide come to Dunfanaghy to play to massive crowds for the popular festival thats now in its seventh year.

So pop in to the Oyster Bar this weekend for great live music, a great atmosphere and great craic!!

Check out the Oyster Bar’s new Facebook page for more details.
