All Ireland Finals

We would like to wish the best of luck to the Donegal Minor and Senior teams in Sundays All Ireland Finals and a special mention to Patrick, Ryan, Stephen, Conor and Andrew who are representing the club and safe journey to all who are traveling to the matches.

Also it’s great to see all the flags, bunting, banners etc in all corners of the parish great colour throughout, well done to all!!

Due to a shortage in tickets received for the All-Ireland final we do not have a sufficient amount to meet the demand. Paid up adult members will receive priority.

Those receiving tickets will be contacted next week and collection will be at the end of next week.

RTE News will be filming in Towney next Wednesday at 1pm in the build up to the All-Ireland Final all welcome to come along with your colours etc.

Our Reserves had a good win away to Gaoth Dobhair on Sunday the final score was 3-11 to 1-10.

Ocean FM All Ireland Tour

As part of the build up to this year’s Minor and Senior All Ireland finals Ocean FM are broadcasting from Aislann Cill Chartha on Thursday 18th September from 7-10pm, all welcome.

Underage

Our Under 8’s travelled to Ardara on last Saturday for Finals day a big thank you to the Ardara club for a well run competition while our Under 16’s lost out to our neighbours Killybegs in the league semi-final final score Cill Chartha 1-07 Na Cealla Beaga 3-07.

Club App

We have now over 120 members signed up to our FREE mobile app if you would like to sign up just follow these steps to download your free team App for CLG Chill Chartha.

1. On your phone or iPad go to the app store 2. Search for Team App 3. Install Team App to your phone 4. Search for CLG Chill Chartha 5. Log in and register for the CLG Chill Chartha Club app. 6. You will receive an email notification when you are added you to the system.

Lotto

There was no winner of the Club Lotto Jackpot so next week’s Jackpot is €7,000 this week’s numbers were 9, 10, 23 and 28 winners were: €50 Frankie McDevitt (Kilbeg) €30 Martin Carr (Main Street) and €20 Trina McShane(Keenaghan). Lotto Plus numbers 1, 8, 14 and 26 there was no winner.

Bingo

Club Bingo winners €80 Eileen Gallagher, Patricia Cuningham, €70 Tom Campbell, Fidelma Bourke, Joan McGuinness, Bernard Shovlin, Annie Deane, Marie Gallagher, Rosealeen Boyle and Rose McBrearty.

The Jackpot on Sunday week is €2,800 on 45 numbers.

We need more volunteers to help out at the Club Bingo please contact Brendan Byrne for info at 087-6985566 if you can help out if we get enough volunteers then a rota set up so you won’t have to be there every week.

NO Bingo this Sunday due to the All-Ireland Final.
