COUNTDOWN TO CROKER: JOIN US THIS EVENING FOR AN INCREDIBLE ‘UP FOR THE MATCH’ LIVE AT THE MOUNT ERRIGAL HOTEL

September 17, 2014

unnamed[1]GETTING excited for the Big Match?

Donegal v Kerry in the All Ireland Final is just four more sleeps!

And tonight at the Mount Errigal Hotel in Letterkenny there is a star-studded panel for our ‘Up for the Match’ live special.

Going GAA GAA for Sam features a top line-up and is brought to you by Donegal Daily and St Eunan’s GAA Club.

Straight off we have the best presenter bar none in Charlie Collins. With almost 30 years broadcasting experience going back to DCR and Highland Radio, where his match commentaries and knowledge were surely the best in the local radio business. Charlie now has a big online presence through his Talking Sport and Donegal TV mediums (also on Sky).

Charlie will be interviewing a fantastic line-up of guests that Up For the Match will find hard to top on Saturday night on RTE!!

Firstly we have Irish Broadcasting legend (and Kerry man!) Micheál Ó Muircheartaigh.

We also have former Donegal star and two-time All-Star, Gaoth Dobhair clubman Kevin Cassidy.

Then we have Tyrone Manager Mickey Harte. Mickey has led to Tyrone to not 1, not 2 but 3 All-Ireland Football triumphs with 2 of those coming against our opponents on Sunday, Kerry.

Mickey will be able to breakdown in detail what Donegal will need to do to beat the Kingdom and take Sam home to the Hills for the 3rd time in our history.

Finally we are pleased to announce that we have a fourth guest to add to our already stellar line-up….. He is one of Ireland’s most decorated footballers at both club and county level winning 6 All-Ireland Club titles, 1 All-Ireland SFC, too many Ulster titles at both club and county level to mention and his story of addiction and redemption was a show stopper when he visited 3 years ago…. It is Crossmaglen’s Oisin McConville who can be found on the airwaves now on both RTE radio and BBC Ulster as an expert analyst.

It really is a night not to be missed and admission is just €10 (half that for U16s). There are no tickets – you can pay at the door!! Be sure to arrive early for the BEST Preview Show in town!

Doors open 7.30pm…throw-in is at 8pm sharp.

There will be a donation to the Donegal Training fund from any profits raised.
