UNDERAGE SATURDAY MORNING

Underage training runs every Saturday morning at the following times:Toddlers, U6 and U8s boys and girls 10-11am. U10 boys at 11-12 and U10 and U12 girls at 11-12. All new children welcome.

SENIOR MEN

Moville senior men were unfortunately defeated by Naomh Ultan in Ballybofey on Saturday night by a score of 1-05 to 2-09. Moville senior men will be disappointed to be leaving the championship at this stage and will feel they could have got a result from this game. A penalty awarded to Naomh Ultan in the first minute of the match meant it would be an uphill struggle for the boys in blue. Despite drawing level early in the second half through a Josh Lafferty goal and points from Ciaran Diver they could not see out the game. Good luck to Naomh Ultan who will face Urris in the Junior A Championship final. Senior training resumes this week on Wednesdays and Fridays at 6:45pm.

U16 GIRLS COUNTY CHAMPIONS

Congratulations to the Moville U16 girls team who defeated St. Eunan’s at the Scarvey in Buncrana under the floodlights last Thursday night.

The girls were behind at half time by a score of 2-02 to 0-03, but their second half performance was fantastic.

This was a great display of attacking passing football from a well drilled team. The final score was 3-13 to 2-03 in Moville’s favour.

A huge congratulations to the girls and their manager Paul McDermott with his assistants Elaine Cavanagh and Mary McDermott. The minor girls team booked their place in the next round of the championship the following night after defeating Fanad Gaels at home.
