Mairead Ni Mhaonaigh Ciaran Tourish Altan webFans of renowned traditional group Altan have still got time to be part of their new album or even have a private gig in their front room by simply making a pledge.

The Donegal-based group are currently working on the album, which they plan to record in Nashville, and have teamed up with PledgeMusic to offer music lovers the chance to be a part of the creative process as well as offering the chance to receive rewards for their pledge.

The group have reached more than 70% of the pledge music campaign – where fans make a donation to the making of the album and get benefits in return.

Vocalist and fiddle player Mairead Ní Mhaonaigh thanked everyone who has made a pledge.

She said: “We are steeped in mixing our new album at the moment and we hope to have it with you in the Spring of 2015. Time is running out and if you’re not in you cannot win.”

Not only will your pledge grant you exclusive access to the album before anyone else, but you will also get to view the Pledgers Only Updates page.

This is a free backstage area with demos, live tracks, rough mixes, and all things Altan as a reward for those who pledge.
