The Rosapenna Senior Scratch Match-play team travelled to Letterkenny G.C last Sunday for the quarter final return leg.

The home leg finished 4-3 to Rosapenna so we needed at least 3 matches away which we duly secured from the top four games to leave the tie 7-7 after both fixtures

The tie was to be decided by a nominated  player from both teams playing sudden death from the 1st, this was between Eammon McDermott & Donal Boyle, after halving the first in Par 4’s Eammon won on the second tie hole.

Best wishes to team captain Eammon & his team in the county semi final where they will face North-West G.C.

Thank you to the Rosapenna team captains and to all the players who took part over both legs.
