October 16, 2014

henry_mcginley_logoHenry McGinley Sons & LTD has received an extension to its examinership following a hearing at the Donegal Circuit court earlier this afternoon.

McGinley Sons & LTD is one of the leading structural and roofing businesses in the North-West.

Over the years the business has established a stellar reputation in the structural and roofing industry in Donegal.

Judge Keenan Johnston praised the significant work carried out by the Sean Carr, Vision Accountancy, Examiner to the business since the short time of his appointment.

It was revealed during the hearing that McGinley Sons & LTD are looking to launch two new innovative product lines.

The innovative product lines are in fire grates and fire stoves plates, which the court heard are 100% more cost effective than standard fire-grates and stoves.

It was also revealed the highly reputable company secured a number of high profile contracts in the last few days, and that they continue to trade as normal.

Two pivotal former employees, who were forced to emigrated recently after having no alternative but to leave their families behind in search for work are returning to the business.

The pair are expected to return home to their families before Christmas, and resume their jobs with Henry McGinley & Sons LTD thereafter.

Mr Sean Carr of Vision Accountancy, regarded as Ireland’s leading turnaround expert, expressed every confidence in being able to save the jobs and the business to the benefit of all stakeholders to the Circuit Court.
