The golfers at Otway are scrambling for Turkey’s every week as Christmas approaches.

Otway Golf News

In week three of the weekly turkey scramble, the cream rose to the top in testing conditions in Otway, on a day when the wee course bared it’s teeth, club captain Martin Duffy led his team to victory.

Helping Martin out in the task of avoiding bogies, and notching up the winning score of five under par was the in-form single handicapper Damian Gallagher and club Pro Martin O’Reilly.

Martin Duffy has joined Dan Canning in winning two out of the first three weeks, and both can relax in the knowledge that there will be nobody leaving the table hungry this Christmas.

Next week the clocks will be moving forward and so will the tee time for the scrambles, so next Sunday names should be in to the clubhouse by 11.45 for a 12 sharp tee off, tel 9158319.
