Naomh Conaill logoOFFICIALS at Naomh Conaill are meeting tonight in emergency session, with sources describing the decision of the Competition Control Committee of the Donegal County Board to refuse a replay of their semi-final against Glenswilly as “extremely disappointing”.

The county board gave its reasons for refusing a replay at 4pm today.

Senior club members are meeting this evening to discuss that response, with sources indicating it will be appealed to the Ulster Council.

Glenswilly player Ciaran Bonner had been yellow carded in their semi-final at the weekend and then given a black card, which meant he could be replaced. The rules state he should have been given a red card.

Glenswilly have appealed the yellow card.
