Letterkenny man Chris Frize is doing his part for charity this Thursday the 13th November by hosting a charity quiz in Arena 7 at 9:30pm. The quiz is in aid of Marc Anderon’s Budapest Fund and Make A Wish Ireland.
So why not bring along your team of four to this night of fun and craic with a raffle on the night with some fantastic prizes kindly donated by local business’s, finger food also being served so hope to see you all there to help fundraise some much need funds for these two fantastic charities.
Marc’s Budapest Treatment Fund was set up to raise funds for 17 year old Marc Anderson who has Spastic Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy, to travel to the world famous “Peto Institute” in Budapest, Hungary where he receives a specialist treatment called conductive education. Marc would not be able to avail of this amazing treatment and help that he needs to help meet his needs without the kind help and generosity of the general public who kindly donate and help organise fundraising events such as this quiz. Marc, his parents and 3 siblings are very grateful for everything done for Marc and would like to thank everyone for making such a huge difference in his life. They would also love to see as many people as possible to turn out on Thursday night to help out raise some much needed funds.
Make a Wish Ireland has helped to grant over 1600 wishes since 1992. It helps to grant wishes for children who are battling life threating illnesses and to help them to experience happiness and fun for a little wile and to help them forget about being sick. There are currently 180 children waiting on the wish list this year and Make a Wish hopes to grant around 150 of these wishes but this all depends on the kindness and generosity of the public as they do not get any help from the government. So please, please help spread the word about our quiz and help us to get a good turn out so we can do our part in granting a child’s wish and you too can help make dreams come true.
We also want to take the time to thank Arena 7 for all their help in making this night possible and to all the local businesses who have kindly donated prizes for the raffle and helped advertise the event.
