Naomh Adhamhnáin Club Notes: The Seniors advanced to the Ulster Club championship semi-final after a superb first half display set them on the road to victory against Fermanagh champions, Roslea Shamrocks with Conall Dunne bagging 1-04 in that opening period.
They are in action once again this Sunday when they travel to Celtic Park in Derry to meet Tyrone champions, Omagh, St. Enda’s. No doubt they will face a much stiffer test this Sunday as they bid to reach a first Ulster Club Final. Throw-in is at 2:30pm, please make the effort to attend and be sure to wear your black& amber – your support counts.
The Reserves will finally get to play the replay of their championship final v Dungloe this Saturday (15th) in MacCumhaill Park at 3pm. Hopefully the lads can get the job done this time, your support would be a massive help to Dowdsy and the boys.
The U13 Girls will also play their county final this Saturday afternoon when they meet Moville at Coláiste Ailigh with a 1:30pm throw-in. the sides played out a thrilling draw earlier in the competition so a close game is expected. If you are around town on Saturday lunch time, please get up to support the girls.
Still no confirmation of the Northern Board Minor Final v Gaoth Dobhair due to the Seniors and Reserves both playing this weekend.
There will be a meeting of all underage club coaches on Thursday week (Nov. 20th) in the Clubhouse at 7pm. This meeting will be used to review our current structures with a view to putting plans into place, sharing knowledge and developing ideas. If you hope to be involved with a team in future, it is vital you attend. If you want anything added to the agenda for this meeting, please contact Pauric Daly on 087-126 8535.
The Minor Board AGM was due to take place in the Clubhouse on Thursday, December 4th at 7pm but will have to be rescheduled. Nomination and motions papers will be sent by club e-mail shortly.
The Friday evening Hurling & Camogie Academy has returned after a short break. The U10’s – U14’s (boys) are outside on the astro at Aura between 6:30pm and 7:30pm. The U6’s and U8’s (boys and girls) begins this Friday (14th) indoors in the hall at Aura. Cost is €3 per child. Hurls and helmets are available and new members are welcome.
