how-to-drive-in-the-rainHEAVY rain is making driving conditions dangerous and difficult in Donegal this morning.

It follows a Yellow Alert warning from Met Eireann.

The yellow warning is in effect until 8pm for Donegal, with 25-40mm of rain expected and a risk of local flooding.

However BBC Northern Ireland says the worst of the rain should leave east Donegal by around 5pm.

AA Roadwatch and Gardaí are asking motorists to take extreme care on our roads in the county today.
