ATHLETICS: PICTURE SPECIAL FROM NATIONAL SENIOR INTER-COUNTIES EVENT AT DUNDALK IT

There was some encouragement with both u18 boys and girls county teams gaining bronze.

The senior women placed second in the top 10 Ann Marie Mc Glynn 6th and Teresa Doherty 10th.

And with Catriona Devine 37, and Claire Mc Guigan 38, they finished 3rd  which was a welcome boost, Finn Valley team was Andrea Browne, Abbie O Connor, Amy Mc Menamin, Chloe Coyle with Sarah Bradley and Demi Crossan in support.

The complete Donegal story was as follows

Under 12 Girls;

Finn Valley 3rd. Ulster 3rd Andrea Browne 17th only Donegal athlete scoring on Ulster team

Under 12 Boys;

Donegal 10th.

Under 14 Girls;

Ulster 2nd. Karen Gallagher 21st, Aoife Mc Grath 23rd only Donegal athletes scoring Donegal 10th.

Under 14 Boys;

Donegal 5th. Ulster 1st, No Donegal athletes.

Under 16 Girls;

Ulster 2nd. No Donegal athletes.

No county team.

Under 16 Boys;

Ulster 1st. Donal Farren LAC only Donegal athlete scoring

County 5th.

Under 18 Girls;

Donegal 3rd; Ciara Finnegan 40th, Mary Teresa Doherty 44th, Karen Gallagher Lifford 53rd, Niamh Kelly Cranford 59th, Grace Trearty Cranford 65th and Bronagh Gallagher Cranford 69th.

Under 18 Boys,

Donegal 3rd; Peter Gibbons 7th, Oisin 15th, Jack 39th, Stefan mc Crossan 47th, Enda Mc Bride 53rd and Oisin Toal 62nd.

Ulster 2nd; Peter 7th and Oisin 15th only Donegal athletes scoring

Senior Women 3rd team , Ann Marie Mc Glynn 6th Team Scoring Dublin 46,Kerry 65 Donegal 91 .
