dungloe logoGaoth Dobhair and Dungloe have been praised for their promotion of Hurling at their clubs.

Both clubs are making great strides in the promotion of hurling in the County.

At the weekend over FORTY young children from the two clubs, aged 5-9 hurled, their hearts out in Acres hall in a well organized ‘Mini All Ireland’ organized by Dungloe GAA.

Each ‘team’ got at least 4 matches and the competition was fierce.

When points were totted up and scores counted, the clubs could not be separated and the McCarthy cup was presented to the two clubs to share!!

Each child went home with an early Christmas present of a selection Box, well deserved for their hurling toils!
