It’s the first of its kind for South Donegal and promises to be an interesting evening.

This free event will features over thirty information stands from various community groups and support organisations in the North West as well as special guest speakers.

One of the event organisers is Trevor McBrearty, a local nurse manager with the H.S.E told Donegal Daily,  “

“It promises to be an engaging evening. As well as the interesting workshops which people can take part in, the evening will create an awareness of the many excellent support services that are available to people in their own area.

“I hope that the evening will stimulate some positive conversations around our mental health and well- being, and that people can leave with a better understanding of the topic.

The event will feature special presentations on Dementia, Youth Mental Health, Schizophrenia and Stress.

The special guest on the evening is Donegal’s GAA star Michael Murphy, who will feature in a Health question and answers session during the event.

Also on the evening there will be a Health Screening Tent where you can get your Blood Pressure and Blood Sugars checked for free.

This is a free event and a large crowd is expected. Refreshments will be served on arrival. Doors open at 6.30pm
