The former SuperQuinn chairmen was seen as a revolutionary leader in the grocery distribution industry and overseen some of its most innovative changes.

Kelly who has turned his business into an incredible success says he was able to pick Quinn’s brain and also told him about his own business.

Mairtin Kelly told Donegal Daily, “It was a real pleasure to meet with Feargal, I learned a lot from him over the years.

“He was a towering figure in our industry and has been an incredible success.

“It was great to tell him about my business and our success story.

“He also gave me some great suggestions for our business moving forward, so look out for these in early 2015.
