ESB Networks crews are attempting to repair a problem which caused a power outage in north Inishowen.
The company says 1,242 customers in Clonmany were without power.
More than 900 have been restored.
The power failure began just before 10am.
ESB Networks says it hopes to restore power by 1.30pm.
