Funding has been approved for three animal welfare groups in Co Donegal.
Among the organisations that have been approved are:-
Animals In Need, Clareden Drive, Donegal Town – €21,000.00
Donegal Donkey Sanctuary, Castle Dooey, Raphoe – €2,100.00
Twin Towns Lost & Found Dogs, Cooladason, Killygordon – E1,000.00
Fine Gael T.D for Donegal South West, Dinny McGinley, was informed by Simon Coveney, T.D., Minister for Agriculture, Food & Marine of the funding.

Deputy welcomed the allocation and complimented the excellent work being carried out on a voluntary basis by the personnel in these Organisations.
