ACTIVITIES
The year 2014 has been a progressive one for Coiste Forbartha Anagaire. They have facilitated for the first time educational, cultural and sporting activities. They hope to build on this work in 2015 with new activities and events.Some activities envisaged are an Advanced Dress Making course in February and classes in Beginners Irish, Art and Basket Making. They hope to facilitate Currach Building classes in early summer as well as exhibitions, film nights and other cultural events. It is hoped that a tourist information centre will be opened in the summer. The Committee have been working towards getting a suitable venue for a Mens Shed for the Parish. GUITAR
Guitar lessons continue at Annagry Hall on Wednesday evenings from 4.30pm.
TABLE QUIZ
A Table Quiz in aid of Keith Shaw Ward St James’ Hospital will be held in Caisleain Óir Annagry on Wednesday January 7th starting at 10 pm. Teams of four, €20 per table.
LOTTO
There was no winner of the €2840 jackpot in the Naomh Muire Club Lotto for December 26th . The numbers drawn were 1-3-8-23. Mary T O’Donnell Braade matched 3 numbers. The jackpot on December 31st is €2900. If you’re not in, you can’t win!
SYMPATHY
Sympathy of the community is extended to her relatives and friends of Dr. Manus O’Donnell Belcruit Kincasslagh, Daniel Gillespie Annagry and Ballymanus, John Gallagher Keadue and Cruckaceehan, Gracie Bonner Cloughglass and Rannyhual, John Duffy Glasgow and Annagry who have died recently. May they rest in peace.
CHRISHTMAS HAMPER
Hugh Bonner Calhame, Brian Feda O’Donnell Rann na Feirste, Owenie Gallagher Kincasslagh and Joe Sharkey Anagaire were the lucky winners of Christmas Hampers in the festive 100+ draw. The main draw takes place on December 31st.
MADE IN DONEGAL
In a recent draw Vincent Sharkey Dungloe was the lucky winner of the Made in Donegal Christmas Hamper. The proceeds of this draw will benefit the Patients Comfort Fund at Dungloe Community Hospital. Thank you to all who subscribed.
