We want to take this opportunity to wish Donegal people here and around the globe a wonderful, peaceful and very happy 2015.
No matter where you are, and no matter what you are doing, enjoy the holiday.
Donegal and its people have had some very tough times over the years, as we continue to export our young people to the four corners of the globe.
To all of you away from home – especially those enjoying the adventure – Happy New Year.
We are a resilient people from a resilient county. Stick together – work together – help each other. We are always stronger together.
Help those who don’t have families around them this year. A wave on the road or a knock at the door may bring some light into someone else’s home this year. Remember especially the families of the 12 people who died on our roads in 2014.
Support your community; support your local sporting organisations. They bring a cohesion and meaning to life and make Donegal stronger.
Support local businesses when you can – they are the lifeblood of our economy. Small businesses keep us all going. (Like Donegal Photographic Tours – Gerard O’Kane’s marvellous pictures are here).
To each and every single one of our readers, thank you for making us the No1 media organisation in Donegal in 2014.
