Donegal TV have announced that they are to air a weekly show for all of 2015 commencing next Thursday the 8th of January.
The shows will be screened every Thursday on Bonanza Bonanza Sky Channel 266 Freesat 157 at 9.30pm just preceding the ever popular Paul Claffey’s & Gerry Glennon Ireland West Country Music Show.
The shows can be viewed throughout Ireland, the UK and Europe on the Sky platform and in addition the show will also be available in 42 million homes throughout the USA on the MHZ Networks worldview service.
The shows will air in the States every Saturday and details re times in the different states and channel numbers can be obtained from the Todays Ireland worldview service at www.todaysireland.tv. Donegal TV will also make the shows available on their own website donegaltv.ie and social media platforms.

‘The programmes will have regular features on News, Entertainment, Business, Sport, Festivals and Events, regular interviews with Donegal people across the Globe as well as interviews with our well known personalities within the County.
“Of course we will include human interest stories on the not so famous which proved extremely popular on our previous series and we will be paying particular attention to our many young emigrants and will be contacting many of them on social media in order that they can contribute directly to the series.
“Donegal is such a vast County with many rich stories and it is a privilege to bring these stories to your television screens and the team here in Donegal TV are really looking forward to this very exciting venture for us.’
The shows will be presented by Charlie Collins and Kathy Donaghy with many guest presenters including Keith Fletcher featuring throughout the year.
The first show has certainly got an international flavour with a report from Philadelphia on the election of Brendan Boyle (of Glencolmcille orgins) to the US Congress, a feature on the Donegal Association in London, the Tip O Neill Diaspora award from Buncrana which was presented by President Michael D Higgins to Boston State Senator Therese Murray and the innovative sound man awards from young Ballyshannon emigrants.Tags:
