A young Letterkenny motorcyclist has continued his pursuit up the ranks of the sport after winning a top award.
Young Richard Kerr won the Gary Morrow Perpetual Cup at the MCUI Ulster Centre prizegiving awards in Belfast.
The cup is awarded to the best newcomer in the 125 cc gp class with past-winners including road racing legend Micheal Dunlop and British championship front runner Glenn Irwin.
This was a great achievment for the 14 year old schoolboy and a great start to the 2015 season.
The team have secured sponsor Bob Wylies Moto 3 machine with an assault on the British championships pencilled in for the coming season.
